CONSERVATION
Conservation, by its very nature, requires a specialist capability developed over many years experience in dealing with sensitive historic structures. Malachy Walsh and Partners have such a capability and have worked on many prestigious, sensitive and well known conservation projects over the last number of years. Typical examples would be the major conservation project carried out at Ardfert Cathedral where ground breaking but nonetheless historically sensitive techniques were used to stabilise and conserve the existing 11th /13th century structures. On the Skelligs, Malachy Walsh and Partners are likewise involved in a rolling conservation programme, again with a view to stabilising this historic structure and preserve it for future generations.
