Major Engineering Award presented to Malachy Walsh and Partners
Malachy Walsh and Partners have recently become the latest organization to achieve the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) Accredited Employer standard, awarded by Engineers Ireland to outstanding employers. The award follows an audit of Malachy Walsh and Partners’ lifelong learning practices for engineering professionals.
Engineers Ireland’s CPD Accredited Employer scheme is co-funded by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment under the National Training Plan. Commenting on Malachy Walsh and Partners’ achievement, Engineers Ireland’s Director General and Chartered Engineer, John Power said: “Engineers Ireland is delighted to recognise Malachy Walsh and Partners hard work and commitment to CPD. He pointed out that continuing professional development for engineering professionals was important for Irish organisations which wished to move up the value chain and remain agile in the face of stiff competition”
The CPD Accredited Employer Standard for Malachy Walsh and Partners is the culmination of a long term strategic goal by the practice to diversify in to growth areas such as alternative energies by cross and up skilling staff.
