Description: SWS Natural Resources Ltd. intend to construct, in two phases, 31 no. high mast low wind speed 2.5MW  turbine generators and necessary access roads on the site of the existing zinc mine at Lisheen near Thurles, Co. Tipperary. This mine is an active, zinc extraction mine and comprises of an extensive network of tunnels at depths of around 200m below ground level.

Malachy Walsh and Partners are engaged to carry out all of the civil engineering design including feasibility studies, peat stability assessment, geological review of mining activities and review of the long term stability of the development when mining activities have ceased.
