Client: National Roads Authority Cost: €1.4Million Completion date: April, 2007 Description: Strengthening of existing cantilever footpaths using Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plates (CFRP) and the replacement of the existing sub-standard parapet. The waterproof membrane and surfacing were also replaced. This was the largest project to date in Ireland using CFRP strengthening techniques on an existing Bridge.
