Malachy Walsh and Partners are a formally certified company under ISO9001:2000 and are registered with the National Standards Authority of Ireland. A formal Quality System has been in place since 1995 and Certification to ISO9001 meets the requirements of Clause 2(c) and 2(f)of Article 32 of the Public Procurement Directive 92/50/EEC.

Health and Safety

It is the policy of Malachy Walsh and Partners to comply fully with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005 and to ensure so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare of all employees at our places of work. Malachy Walsh and Partners commit to providing such information, training and supervision as may be needed for this purpose. The Firms Safety Statement sets out company procedures for minimising the risk of injury and ill-health at our place of work.

It is also the policy of MWP to protect, so far as is reasonably practicable, persons not employed by the company who may be affected by our activities.
In accordance with the company Safety Statement all hazards and associated risks to employees have been identified and accessed. Employees are encouraged to comply with their duties under the 2005 Act to notify the Company Management of additional hazards not included in the company safety statement.
The allocation of duties for safety matters and particular arrangements to implement the policy are set out in the Company Safety Statement. This policy and the Company Safety Statement are reviewed annually to ensure that they are kept up to date.

C.P.D.

Malachy Walsh and Partners are committed to the Continuing Professional Development of its employees. MWP have agreed the CPD Protocol of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland and have recently received accreditation under the scheme. CPD events are arranged both in-house and externally and all employees are encouraged to participate.
