Malachy Walsh and Partners has developed a dedicated in-house team to meet the challenge of providing services for the renewable energy sector. This team includes environmental, geotechnical and civil engineering specialist expertise. Over the last number of years this team has expanded to meet the growing requirements, especially in the environmental sector, of the renewable energy markets. Green energy solutions that are sustainable, environmentally friendly, technically possible and financially viable are core to achieving EU and Kyoto targets.

The environmental team in MWP is currently working on a number of significant Wind Energy schemes, Pump Hydro Energy Storage (PHES) projects, Tidal Energy projects and associated infrastructural works such as power lines both underground and over ground, sub-stations etc. We operate at all stages of the project life cycle.

• We act as planning/project supervisor and Health and Safety Coordinator on many large infrastructural projects
• We offer an integrated approach for clients due to the existence of our civil engineering, environmental and energy departments being in-house.
