This traffic sector has the capability to undertake transport planning, traffic modelling and assessment projects for Local Authority and private clients. Malachy Walsh and Partners Traffic and its personnel has a wealth of experience in carrying out a wide range of traffic related studies, utilising the latest computer software tools, as outlined below. Studies include traffic and transport modelling, traffic management and parking studies, traffic impact assessments for various development uses, junction capacity analysis, and numerous road safety audits.

The following Modelling Software are used by MWP to aid in Traffic and Transportation modelling, design and assessment: Strategic Modelling, Microsimulation Modelling, Junction Modelling, Swept Path Analysis, Saturn, Paramics, TRL Software Suite, AutoTrack, AutoCAD.
