The Firm has long and comprehensive experience in the field of Water Services, (both in potable Water Treatment & Supply and Wastewater Collection & Treatment). As important is the fact that the Firm is also a market leader in all allied aspects of Engineering which feed into decision making in Water Services. These areas include Coastal, Estuarine and Harbour Engineering, Hydrometrics, Environmental Impacts, Major Civil Works & Foundation Engineering, Roads & Bridges, Structures and Mechanical & Electrical engineering.
This experience covers all aspects of Wastewater Engineering from Wastewater Collection System survey, audit, modelling, analysis and design through Receiving Waters assessment (Marine and Fresh waters) to Treatment Process and Plant design, specification, procurement and supervision. The company has often worked within live operational complexes in which the project has to be completed.
The members of the Firm also have a thorough knowledge and experience of the various Procurement methods such as New Government Conditions, FIDIC DBO, IEI third edition, and GDLA. This knowledge and experience extends to all Statutory and Land / Wayleave Acquisition procedures and all the Planning, Environmental, Technical, Contractual and Programme Management skills needed in a Public Works project. The Firm has a track record, across Ireland, of project development through the preliminary report stage and subsequently on to design and implementation, from a wide range of projects in both the water supply and sewerage sectors for both Public and Private clients.
In design terms, every possible modern aid is used to enhance performance, including Computer-aided design packages for a range of survey and engineering projects. It is the policy of the Firm to maintain its reputation for providing a dependable service and the predictable delivery of designs and drawings. A Quality System has been designed and was put in place in 1995.
