The head office is located in Cork City with other offices in Tralee, Co. Kerry, Limerick and London, U.K. The Company is totally owned by its Directors.

Payroll Administration / Accounts Assistant

Senior Environmental Scientist / Engineer

Payroll Administration / Accounts Assistant (Cork Office): 5 Years Experience

We are seeking a payroll administration / accounts assistant to work within our accounts department in our Cork office.

Responsibilities

  • Operating and maintaining the company payroll
  • Inputting data to accounts package
  • Maintaining and operating the accounts payable function of the company
  • Preparation of bank reconciliations
  • Inputting Sales invoices to accounts package
  • Preparation and submission of VAT and PAYE Returns
  • Dealing with the company’s healthcare scheme
  • Dealing with the company’s pension scheme
  • Filing of CSO returns
  • Engagement with staff and management

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Quantum Payroll an advantage
  • Knowledge of Sage Line 50 an advantage
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of ROS
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative

 

Senior Environmental Scientist/Engineer (Cork Office): 5-10 Years Experience

We are seeking Environmental Consultants to work within our growing Environmental team in our Cork office on exciting and varied environmental projects. The ideal candidate will be looking to further his/her career and gain invaluable experience in a multi disciplinary engineering consultancy within a friendly working environment. This is a permanent role and offers the successful candidate opportunities for career development.

Responsibilities

  • Management of environmental projects in diverse range of sectors including coastal & marine, renewable energy, industrial and public sectors.
  • Client management and business development
  • Management and mentoring of junior team members
  • Preparation and review of EIA screening, scoping and EIAR reports
  • Preparation and review of AA screening reports
  • Environmental due diligence assessments
  • Preparation of EPA licensing applications
  • Preparation of statutory consent documentation
  • Consultation with regulators and statutory bodies
  • Stakeholder engagement and management

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science, Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • 5-10 years post qualification experience, most of which will have been gained within an environmental consultancy area
  • Membership of a professional body
  • Knowledge of and experience in contaminated land/geo-environmental assessment would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work well in teams, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong technical report writing skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Experience in some or all of the following areas:
    • Data collection & interpretation
    • Public and statutory consultation
    • EIAR preparation
    • Waste Management studies
    • IE/IPC licence applications
