Project Description

The development consisted of a 2-storey office building on a green field site housing administrative health staff and community health services.  The structure comprises of a reinforced concrete frame with first floor precast flooring units and structural steel roof structure. Ground conditions on the site were difficult and required continuous diligence to deal with the anomalous limestone. The building was one of the first instances where the HSE utilised a patent external insulation system in lieu of more traditional cavity wall construction. MWP was the Civil and Structural, building Services Engineer’s on the project.
